They came close to catching him at the New Orleans airport, which led Abagnale to stop getting on planes and moved to Georgia. To avoid arousing suspicion he put “doctor” as a profession on a rental form and agreed to be a resident supervisor at a hospital, a job he was offered by a real doctor who lived in the same apartment complex. The charade lasted 11 months until he endangered the life of a baby.
The end of the chaseWith the authorities again on his heels, he moved to Louisiana where he worked for eight months at a law firm, thanks to the recommendation of a young woman he dated. He forged a Harvard diploma and went so far as to collaborate with the state attorney general before resigning because he could no longer sustain the lie.
Books, film and theaterAbagnale published his autobiography Catch Me If You Can in 1980, a text that was the basis used by Steven Spielberg for the film. Although he was not heavily involved in the adaptation and making of this film about a fragment of his life, he did have a cameo: he played the French policeman who arrested DiCaprio.

-Adam nods and waits looking at the monitors, he sees Aria entering hand in hand with another girl, precisely the girl who is in the office at that moment. Adam looks at her annoyed and says sententiously:
-Adam! Let’s go to that hotel, we can all calm down there – Adam simply nods and enters the hotel, as soon as he sees his shield they are offered the best room in the hotel, when they enter Adam lies down on the bed and says totally pissed off:
-One of the men I used to frequent along with three others invited me for a drink nearby, then he wanted me to go in there with him and we would meet the others. He lied to me a lot, when we walked in there was no one else there, he just wanted me to take my clothes off and go into a room, like I was a…a…you know.- Adam nods and says still upset:
While in the shower Adam looks at himself in the mirror and annoyed gets under the water, he relaxes a little when he hears Aria moaning anxiously for more, he gets out naked after drying off and approaching them he says in a low voice:

Misa de medianoche is also a telefiction about the power of storytelling. In all of its episodes, each lasting more than an hour, we watch the characters talk at length, as if the dialogues were constructed by stringing together extensive monologues. Flanagan uses the conversations -or individual interventions- with a double purpose. First, he notes the potential of storytelling to cohere a society, but also to manipulate it, something that also extends to personal relationships. Everyone is telling stories all the time to convince others or themselves what to do to move forward; sometimes the word is healing, at others it is only the vehicle to secure spurious objectives.
At the writing level, the author of The Curse of Hill House (2018) is not afraid of risk. The first sequence -which starts with the stylized continuity shot of the accident caused by Riley- is a covert teaser because it places as a protagonist someone who will disappear at the climax of the series, but also because it narrates events that could be suppressed (what if the story began with Riley’s arrival on the island? Couldn’t it be explained in a couple of lines of dialogue that he returns from prison and thus save us several minutes of footage, also lightening the budget?). However, at a conceptual level, this prologue is more important than it seems, because it tells us about the permanence of the girl who died in the accident, how she continues to inhabit Riley’s mind. If we relate that initial block, prior to the presentation of the world of Crockett Island, with Erin’s final speech we will quickly see the correlation. The teaser -that brief presentation of what will happen in a series or in an episode, the one that summarizes what the show is about- is here conceptual and not argumental.
