How to make a paragraph examples

In English, the central building blocks of any intellectual or research argument are paragraphs. Each paragraph should be a unit of thought in itself, a discrete set of ideas composed of linked sentences. The sequence usually applied is as follows: Topic, Body, Proof, Closing.

That is why the beginning (“Theme”) and the end (“Closing”) of paragraphs should always be the parts that you write most carefully. Try to separate these two sentences and look at them together. Check how they read, how relevant and informative they are, and how they could be improved.

The author begins with a sentence that references the previous paragraph, rather than a fresh sentence such as “Topic.” Readers may conclude the paragraph contains “more of the same” and thus skip it to the next paragraph. Even those who choose to read such a paragraph may be confused: what is the paragraph really about, is that the opening sentence, or is the topic given by the sentence that comes after the opening sentence?

This is how we Internet users behave when we are surfing the net. And this way of acting is mechanical and very fast. Our brain scans in 2 seconds each beginning of the contents, and very quickly decides if it wants to know more, or not.

To give you an answer to this question there is no exact rule. Nor is it something that goes proportionally with the total content; that is, if I’m writing a 1000 words post, the beginning has to have 50.

Sometimes, when I write content in which I am going to show readers products they can buy, for example, a review, a haul, a shopping guide, etc. I use a CTA that works very well for me: “Shall we go shopping?”

At the copywriting level, there are several formulas that can help you when writing your texts. When you have to write the beginning of a post, I advise you to use the AIDA formula.

Therefore, you should not give away everything that your reader will find inside the post. Say something relevant, an eye-catching fact, but just a brushstroke. Try to leave a halo of mystery to arouse the curiosity to continue reading.
