A journey that goes from Kant to Freud, passing through Lewis Mumford, McLuhan, Picasso or Degas, leads us to think that this term will always respond to the aesthetic approaches of each moment, as well as to the social, political, economic and cultural features of each era.
This concept has not been homogeneous over time, it is a cultural construct, which has been forging an idea of Art that still prevails, although increasingly more complex in our days. This system has been incorporating new techniques and new materials weakening the idea of art, as we understood it until today, causing a great chaos where the old values have decayed and the new ones are presented as diffuse, unrecognizable.

The term object has a trick, because its meaning is so broad and from the perspective of the Arts and Crafts school – an object can be treated as anything conceived and made by man.
Life is definitely not lived in “black” or “white” all the time; we live in an in-between zone, in a “grey” zone and occasionally there are high and low peaks… it’s a complex matter in itself and simple at the same time.
And feedback, collaboration and mutual respect between virtually any activity with a constructive and progressive purpose could save us from self-destruction and/or boredom… whichever comes first.
