After the X-Files were closed, Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) and Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson) were assigned to other projects. The story begins when they go to a building in Dallas, under the orders of agent Darius Michaud, for a bomb threat. Mulder and Scully discover the bomb, but still, the bomb explodes. Soon, Mulder begins to believe that the bomb was not deliberately defused by the FBI.
