The long-awaited Diablo 2: resurrected will launch at the end of next month, but fans of Blizzard’s hack-and-slash dungeon crawler series won’t have to wait that long to try the game out for themselves. Blizzard has now confirmed exactly when Diablo 2: Resurrected Open Beta is starting, along with the early access start date.

Early access to Diablo 2: Risen The pace will begin on Friday, August 13 at 10:00 am (Pacific Time) and will last through the weekend. Early access will be available to anyone who pre-orders. Diablo 2: Resurrected or Diablo Prime Evil Collection on PC, PlayStation and Xbox. While there will be a Diablo 2: Resurrected Switch port, it will not be part of the early access weekend or open beta at all.

Fans will be able to experience Diablo 2: Resurrectedthe first two acts in the open beta, and are free to level up as much as they want, as there will be no limit. Players will be able to try out the Diablo 2: Risen Paladin class as well as the Druid class, along with the standard Amazon, Barbarian and Sorceress classes. And to ensure that the open beta reflects the real Diablo 2 experience, the game will support online multiplayer and PvP.
